Every day in Orbital starts with a check-in and ends with a Recharge. Here's how the day flows:

Energy OrbsYour daily focus budget. Check in each morning to set your orb count (3–15). Each Burn spends orbs based on length and gravity.

BurnsA timed focus session on one Ship — 15, 25, 35, or 50 minutes. Every Burn earns XP and advances your Ship through its phases.

Recharge RitualAfter 90 minutes of focus, Orbital calls a Hard Stop — a guided break that closes the mental loop and refills your energy. Rest is progress.

Each morning you choose how you want to operate. Three modes — each designed for a different energy state and decision load.

You set a target for the day: total burn time, Planets to touch, or tasks to complete. High upfront planning load, but near-zero friction once you're in motion. Best when you can front-load your thinking.

Orbital suggests a sequence of Burns across your active Ships, weighted by priority and gravity. You confirm and adjust as you go. Medium load, medium friction. Good for most days.
